Turkey, where the number foreign students in universities has reached from 48 thousand with a record increase to 178 thousand in the last 5 years, has become one of the countries that hosts the most international students.
For the international students coming to country either by their own means or with scholarships as “Scholarships of Turkey” carried out by Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), “Scholarships of YÖK” within the international scope of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), “Government’s Scholarships”, “Scholarship of Türkiye Diyanet Foundation”, there is opportunity to recieve education with nearly 60 thousand programs in 207 universities in Turkey.
Turkey aims increase the number of international students that hosts to 250 thousand until 2023.
