YÖS-Foreign Student Examination was conducted by ÖSYM from 1981 to 2010. Starting from 2011 to present, including 2022, It is applied by T.C universities under the name of International Student Exams, Foreign Student Admission Exams, or as it is known, Foreign Student Exams.
Due to the decision taken by YÖK (Higher Education Board) in December 2022, the exam, which was announced by ÖSYM as MYÖS (Central Foreign Student Admission Exam), it will be first conducted in January 2023 and again by ÖSYM it is announced , with title of “TR-YÖS (Turkey Abroad Student Admission Exam”), in a central manner.
Those who want to study in associate and undergraduate programs in Turkey, provided that the candidates who will apply for the exam are in the last year of high school or have graduated;
– Candidates of foreign nationals,
-T.C. Candidates who have left their citizenship and who have a Blue Card,
-T.C. candidates who acquired citizenship later,
-T.R., who has completed all of his secondary education in any country other than Turkey, excluding Turkish high schools in the TRNC. citizen or one of its nationals is T.C. dual citizenship candidates
-Candidates who are TRNC nationals, residing in the TRNC and have GCEAL exam results who have completed their secondary education in the TRNC,
The afore-mentioned applicants’ application to TR-YÖS will be accepted.
It is expected that TR-YÖS will be executed in “Turkish, German, Arabic, French, English, Russian” languages and internationally in many countries and in different centers on the same day simultaneously.
The questions to be asked in the exam and their numbers, the duration of the exam, the exam fee and other information about the exam will be included in the 2023 TR-YÖS 2023 guide which will be issued by ÖSYM.
